Real Estate Title Insurance and Closings

Federal law REQUIRES that buyers and borrowers have the right to CHOOSE their title insurance and closing company. We invite you to CHOOSE CASTERTON! We have been in this business for a long time and we enjoy it. We are conveniently located on Highway 8 in both Lindstrom, Minnesota, and St. Croix Falls, Wisconsin. We are able to search the status of titles and conduct closings for properties anywhere in the states of Minnesota and Wisconsin and we search in Chisago, Polk, Washington and the Twin Cities metropolitan area on a daily basis.

 

EXPERIENCED. We have successfully closed thousands of real estate and mortgage transactions since the 1980's. Lisa Lewis, Jim Casterton, and Shannon Jacobson serve as our three closers. Each of them have closed thousands of loans, for virtually every type of transaction imaginable. In addition to closing transactions for others, we also personally own almost every type of property: Commercial, raw land for development, rental properties, cabin/lakeshore property, single family residences, condominiums, foreclosed properties, timeshare property, and property located in Minnesota, Wisconsin and Mexico.

KNOWLEDGEABLE. In addition to the knowledge gained through experience, we actively attend continuing education seminars to sharpen our skills and keep abreast of the latest legal and technological changes which affect real estate and mortgage transactions. Our owner, Jim Casterton, graduated with honors from both the University of Minnesota Law School and Luther College. He has also served as city attorney or assistant city attorney for the cities of Chisago City, Mora, Taylors Falls, Shafer, Stacy, and Forest Lake.

CONVENIENT. We have offices in both Minnesota and Wisconsin which are both located on U.S. Highway 8. See Directions page for driving directions. There is no need to travel to the Twin Cities or to Hudson to close transactions for properties in Chisago County, Minnesota or Polk County, Wisconsin.
